Evaporative Light Scattering Detectors

Evaporative Light-Scattering Detectors provide a Universal detection mode for Liquid Chromatography and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography. It does not depend on the presence of chromophore groups on the compound and is therefore an extremely useful technique to get the complete picture of complex samples.

Typical applications include Carbohydrates, Lipids, Surfactants, Polymers but also Pharmaceutical High Throughput Screening and small molecules such as Amino Acids (without any derivation step) or Inorganic Ions (without the need of any additional post-column device). SEDERE LT-ELSDs are commonly used in Industrial, Governmental and University research and control laboratories.

As one of the originators of this detection mode, SEDERE remains exclusively focused on this technology as a core competency and has more than 25 years of experience in the development of versatile detection systems for all Chromatography Applications. The unparalleled selection of six LT-ELSD models can match both very high performance requirements and budget for all chromatography applications from basic research to quality control and purification.
