The advantage of the full mass range spectra produced by the GCT Premier enables a wide range of components, both known and unknown, to be detected with high sensitivity. Full mass range spectra are beneficial when trying to characterize samples in terms of identity and quantity.
The extended dynamic range of the GCT Premier delivers up to four orders of magnitude for exact mass measurement and quantitative studies allowing you to maximize information produced from a single analysis.
Increase Productivity with Rapid Spectral Sampling and Acquisition Rate
The GCT Premier samples the source ion beam at 25,000 times per second. This eliminates the spectral skew associated with scanning instruments, which means that accurate spectra and quantitative data can be obtained with fewer scans over the chromatographic peak. In addition, the high spectral acquisition rate (up to 20 spectra per second) enables narrow chromatographic peaks to be processed. In combination with Waters deconvolution algorithm, pure spectra can be obtained from partially co-eluting components in complex chromatograms.
